Speed prophecy?

I have been away at a training course this weekend that focuses on training people in marginalised places for church planting and ministry. I have really enjoyed this weekend and the people that I have met and connected with. In particular I have felt challenged about how I actually connect with people in my neighbourhood and how do we be church in a simple, beautiful, subversive and sustainable way.

One exercise that we did we had to think of one word, question and action that we want to take home with us. We had to then ‘speed date’ around the room to talk to as many people as we could and tell them our thoughts. These were mine:

One word God has been saying to me this weekend: less
One question I have from this weekend: how do I love people more?
One action that I want to do in the light of this: go and visit my neighbour Sarah in the next couple of weeks.
